GRCV Presents: When Will I Know? A 2013 Camper Timeline.

>>April 15th: Email or phone notification of the status of your applications.

>>May 1st: Camper Packages get mailed out. We will send you all sorts of stuff including: The instrument you’ll be hanging out with all week, forms to sign, information to put on the fridge, and payment information and options.

>>June 1st: Due date for Camper Packages. (There will be info in the package if you
need to set up payment installments). We will also be asking Waitlisted campers if they would like to stay on the waitlist right up until the moment of camp or if they are going to make other fun summer plans.

>>July 8th: Camp!

We listened to Sonic Youth while writing this.

We are also seeking a Food Co-ordinator!

Pop it in the mail, we love getting mail! Also, you have to post it as WE DO NOT ACCEPT ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS. No exceptions, sorry.

Some of us just got back from an amazing weekend at the GRCA Conference. We learned so much!

While we were there we hung out some other Canadian camps: Girls Rock Camp Toronto, Girls Rock Camp Mississauga, and Peterborough Rock Camp for Girls. And that was just three of the forty something camps we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with.

We’re really looking forward to Lethbridge, Alberta and Victoria, BC coming to the conference with us next year!

On Monday our Camper Applications go up. We are so excited for camp this year! And a reminder to get those Volunteer Applications in!

We’ve hit a slight technical hitch and some low blood sugar over here at Girls Rock Camp Vancouver so the volunteer applications will be up at some point today, March 16th.

In the meantime, spend some time with our friends Lunchlady.
