Fieldhouse
GRCV has been awarded a 3 year Fieldhouse residency by the City of Vancouver. The Park Board’s Fieldhouse Activation Program transformed former caretakers’ suites in parks and underused facilities across the city into active spaces for community engaged creative practices. We are located at the Falaise Park Fieldhouse in the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood, near Rupert and Grandview Highway. We host all sorts of music- and non-music-related community activities.
Apply to be an instructor or facilitator here (ongoing).
Keep up with what’s happening at the Fieldhouse here.
This project is generously supported by the Vancouver Park Board’s Field House Activation Program. Learn more about other Fieldhouse studio projects here.

Girls Rock Camp Radio
Girls Rock Camp Radio has been on the air since 2018! Every 2nd and 4th Monday from 7-8pm you can tune in to Co-op Radio 100.5FM in Vancouver to hear local bands, interviews with musicians and interesting people, as well as profiles on other rock camps and current events. You can listen online here! Scroll down this page to listen to previous episodes of our show.
Moberly After School Program
We currently are partnered with Moberly Arts Centre and the City of Vancouver to hold an after school program for girls and non-binary children and youth. It’s just like our summer camp but it happens Thursdays at Moberly Arts and Cultural Center in South Vancouver. Participants learn the basics of music making, as well as attend workshops on merch making, recording, songwriting, and more. The last few weeks are reserved for band formation and the new rockers will create a song together and perform it on the last day. Sessions are 8-10 weeks and take place 2-3 times per year.
Past Programming
We have hosted various workshops throughout the years, including an introduction to radio hosting with technical training by CJSF 90.1 FM at the SFU Campus.
In 2015 we spent the day participating in a workshop with the LGBTQ2S* Youth Housing, with RainCity Housing.
In addition to our Summer Camp Session, we partner with community allies to help run programming throughout the year, including: Ladies Rock Camp, a rock camp held in a Women’s Prison and a Downtown East Side Rock Camp in partnership with RainCity Housing.
